Product Overview
The De’Longhi 7313285779 carbon filter is a premium replacement component engineered to maintain optimal performance of residential range hoods. Constructed from high‑grade activated carbon, the filter efficiently adsorbs airborne contaminants, including grease particles, cooking fumes, and lingering odors, ensuring that the ventilation system continues to deliver clean, fresh air throughout the kitchen. Its compact dimensions of 1″ D x 4″ W x 1″ H allow for a seamless fit within the designated filter compartment of compatible De’Longhi models, while the lightweight design—just 0.32 ounces—facilitates easy handling during installation and removal.
Certified by NSF International, this filter meets rigorous standards for material safety and performance, providing homeowners with confidence that the product adheres to industry‑recognized quality benchmarks. The filter’s multicolor exterior blends discreetly with the interior of most range hood designs, avoiding visual disruption while delivering functional excellence. With a single‑count packaging, the product offers a straightforward solution for users seeking to replace a worn filter without the complexity of multi‑pack configurations.
Beyond its primary function of impurity removal, the filter contributes to the longevity of the range hood’s fan and motor components. By capturing grease before it can accumulate on internal surfaces, the filter reduces the risk of motor strain and potential overheating, thereby extending the appliance’s service life and minimizing maintenance costs. This preventative benefit aligns with De’Longhi’s commitment to durable, high‑performance kitchen appliances.
Installation is intuitive: simply slide the filter into the designated slot, ensuring the carbon side faces the airflow direction for maximum absorption efficiency. No tools, adhesives, or additional accessories are required, making the replacement process quick and hassle‑free. The filter’s design also supports easy removal for cleaning or disposal, allowing users to maintain a hygienic cooking environment with minimal effort.
Customers consistently rate this filter highly, with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars based on over 500 verified reviews. The positive feedback highlights the filter’s effectiveness in odor control, ease of installation, and reliable fit across a range of De’Longhi hood models. Such consumer endorsement reinforces the product’s reputation as a trusted OEM‑authorized part that delivers on its performance promises.

FAQ
What range hood models are compatible with this filter?
The 7313285779 carbon filter is compatible with all De’Longhi range hood models that use a standard 1″ D x 4″ W x 1″ H filter compartment. This includes popular series such as the De’Longhi DHR series and other models listed in the product manual.
How often should I replace the carbon filter?
Replacement frequency depends on cooking intensity and usage patterns. For typical home cooking, we recommend replacing the filter every 6‑12 months. Heavy cooking or frequent high‑heat grilling may require more frequent changes to maintain optimal performance.
Is the filter recyclable?
Yes, the activated carbon media can be disposed of following local recycling guidelines for carbon‑based materials. Check with your municipality for specific recycling programs that accept used kitchen filters.
Can I clean and reuse the filter?
While the filter is designed for single‑use to ensure maximum adsorption efficiency, some users opt to gently tap out excess grease before disposal. However, cleaning the carbon media can reduce its effectiveness, so we recommend replacing the filter with a new unit for consistent performance.
