Crafted from premium aluminum mesh, the filter provides a robust barrier that captures grease, smoke, and airborne particles while allowing optimal airflow. Its dimensions of 15‑3/4″ x 13‑7/8″ x 3/8″ ensure a precise fit for a wide range of hood models, including Nutone, Broan, and other compatible brands. The lightweight construction, at just 1.3 pounds, makes installation and removal effortless, while the durable material resists corrosion and deformation over time.

Designed with a dual‑tension spring system on the short side and a convenient pull tab, the filter secures firmly in place yet can be removed quickly for cleaning. The grey finish blends seamlessly with most hood interiors, providing a discreet yet effective solution. Each package includes two filters, offering a convenient replacement set that reduces downtime and keeps your cooking environment consistently clean.

Beyond its functional attributes, the filter incorporates a multi‑layer aluminum media that maximizes filtration efficiency without sacrificing airflow. This technology helps maintain the hood’s suction power, ensuring that cooking fumes are expelled efficiently while the filter captures contaminants. The washable design means you can simply rinse the filter with mild dish detergent and warm water, extending its service life and reducing waste.

Imengnie’s commitment to quality is reflected in the rigorous testing each filter undergoes. The product meets industry standards for grease capture and durability, earning a solid 4.3‑star rating from verified customers. Whether you are a home chef or a professional cook, this filter delivers reliable performance, easy maintenance, and long‑term value.

Overall, the S99010430-002 filter offers a balanced combination of durability, ease of use, and effective grease removal, making it an essential component for maintaining a clean and healthy kitchen environment.

Usage

This filter is ideal for everyday cooking scenarios, from quick weekday meals to elaborate weekend feasts. It excels in environments where high‑heat cooking, frying, and grilling generate substantial grease and smoke. By installing the filter beneath the range hood, you create a barrier that captures particles before they can settle on surfaces or recirculate into the air.

Homeowners with open‑concept kitchens will appreciate the filter’s ability to maintain air quality without compromising the aesthetic of their space. Its low‑profile design fits neatly within the hood cavity, preserving the sleek look of modern appliances while delivering superior performance.

For renters or those who frequently relocate, the washable nature of the filter provides a cost‑effective solution. Instead of purchasing disposable filters, you can simply clean and reuse the same units, reducing both expense and environmental impact.

Professional chefs working in commercial settings may also find this filter valuable for its ease of maintenance. The quick‑release tension springs allow for rapid removal during busy service periods, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous operation.

In addition to standard cooking, the filter performs well in baking, roasting, and even indoor grilling scenarios where smoke and vapor are prevalent. Its versatility makes it a reliable choice for any kitchen that demands consistent air filtration.

FAQ

How do I install the filter?

Remove the existing filter from your hood, align the new Imengnie filter with the mounting brackets, and press it into place until the tension springs click securely. The pull tab on the short side makes removal simple for cleaning.

Can I use this filter with other brands besides Nutone?

Yes, the filter is compatible with a range of models that share the same dimensions, including many Broan, ACSQ1, AVSF1, and other common range hood brands. Always verify your hood’s size before purchasing.

Is the filter dishwasher safe?

While the filter is washable by hand, we recommend avoiding the dishwasher to preserve the integrity of the aluminum mesh. Hand‑washing with mild dish soap and warm water provides the best results.

How often should I clean the filter?

For typical home cooking, cleaning the filter every 1‑2 months maintains optimal performance. Heavy frying or frequent high‑heat cooking may require more frequent cleaning to prevent grease buildup.
